ZEN.. the art of doing nothing!

One pleasant Sunday afternoon, the discussion between me & my mom went like this…

All doodles above are drawn by me :)

No, not just for laugh, seriously, this is a very rare scene at anybody’s home, isn’t it?

Watching a woman (who is constantly looking after her family, and at the same time focusing on her career, on being a perfect mother, and mending her lifestyle according to the needs of people around her, and what not!) taking some rest is truly a scene away from anyone’s imagination. The one who constantly struggles to be the best in whatever she does (best mom, best wife, best sister, best daughter, best boss, best entrepreneur, best chef, etc etc). The selfless love, the commitment, the devotion for anything and everything she does is commendable, but SHE also certainly needs time for herself to be at ZERO.

She also needs her space, her peace, her “me” time to do nothing!

Even she would like to just lay down and waste*(?) time… Let’s all try to help a superwoman at our homes in all ways we can and allow them to spend time for themselves.

*Doing nothing is not a waste of time, there is an art in that too… (oh yes, I now know many of you would agree to be an artist here 😉 ) … But on serious note, doing nothing(absolutely nothing, not sleeping either 😊 ) for 5–10 minutes can increase productivity.. can bring freshness ..can improve your life.. can melt stress… This is called ZEN habits…Art of doing nothing (by Lio Babuta)…!! Try it today…!!

[DON’T Blame me for doing nothing for the whole day buddies… Be smart enough to decide when to take breaks in between and do nothing]
